Thank you so much for all the blogging this year - you've transformed my kitchen life. I made your bonkers salted caramel ice cream only this afternoon and you're right, it is bonkers, but makes a brilliant accompaniment to a mince pie. Get well soon, good luck with the baby and Happy Christmas!! x
Ditto Charlotte's comment, thank you for blogging, I really enjoy reading your posts.I made the orange and polenta cake two days ago and in true recipe rifle style I cocked up the dusting of icing sugar and just walloped a thick layer all over the cake and kitchen so it looks like it was made by a two year old. The family have scoffed the lot, utterly delicious!
Thank you from me too. I spent a happy day yesterday making uncrusted rack of lamb, baked leaks, mince pies, and ginger cake. I am looking forward to re-hearing your firm instructions in my ear over Christmas when I make Yorkshire Puds to go with the beef... blue smoke oven here we come... You have really given me a nudge back into the kitchen this year for which I am super grateful - as is my husband. Hope you have a good break and a very happy Christmas. Christina
Happy Christmas and thanks for the many giggles and excellent recipes you have provided us with this year. Your Christmas ginger cake went down a storm with my marzipan/fruit cake hating family...
I love love love your blog. Your hints on hosting Christmas (which I am reading on 31st Dec) made me really laugh - keep blogging, you're a natural and a great read.
Have a great Christmas and hope you're on the mend soon! K x
